Boat is a short CGI-meets-live-action film about a very personal apocalypse. In the vein of a low budget The Road, Pincher Martin this is an eclectic and ambitious project shot in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Produced by Blue Iris Films and Written/Directed by David Lumsden the film was completed in June 2014 after a long post production process. The crew was compiled of very talented artists from Scotland, Canada, London and Croatia.
The film was part financed by crowd funding site indie-gogo, private investment and in kind donations from a lot of very cool people and companies.
Boat will Premier at the Glasgow Short Film Festival 2015. The comic book Boat Volume 01 will be released shortly after online!
